Need some gift ideas for the upcoming holidays? Stop by the Spirit Store during lunches this Thursday and Friday to see what’s new. For the month of December we will have sweatshirts, beanies and long sleeve t-shirts all on sale.

Come out to Chamblee High School to cheer on your favorite Swimmers and Diver. Diving competition is Friday, December 6 at 5pm and Swimming on Saturday, December 7 at 9am. JUST KEEP SWIMMING!!!

Great news! The VOX Literary Magazine has extended its deadline to submit to the magazine! The NEW deadline is MONDAY, December 9th. That includes a weekend to get your creative work submitted. Send your submissions to rhsvox@gmail.com or see rhsvox.com for more information.

The Winter Masquerade dance scheduled for this Saturday has been canceled.

Beta Club is sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit Covenant House, which provides care and services to vulnerable youth in Atlanta. To raise funds, we will hold a Hat Day on Wednesday, December 11th (next week). For $3, all students and teachers can “purchase” a sticker to put onto their hat—larger donations are also appreciated! Tables will be set up in the Gym Lobby and Front Atrium on the morning of Wednesday, December 11th for you to donate and receive your hat sticker. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause as we approach the holiday season.

Swing by the auditorium gallery to see the Visual Arts Department Winter Showcase. The show will be on display through Dec. 6th.

Language Fusion Club members: Please join us after school this Wednesday, December 4 in room E127 for a celebration of the holiday season around the world with international food and crafts.

There will be a Key Club meeting on Thursday December 5 at 8:00 AM in Mrs. Boyd’s room, F114.

The Annual Fulton County Schools’ Technology Competition is looking for students who are creative, enthusiastic and inspired with TECHNOLOGY! This year’s Technology Competition will be Saturday, December 14 at Centennial High School. Please note the Technology Competition has been changed from the end of January to the middle of December. Students must register December 2, 3 or 4 and there are 15 categories. Please stop by the Media Tech Center and check with Ms. Swearingen for more information. Students must submit participation forms by Wednesday, 12-4-2019. Thanks so much!

Even though we have only 13 days left until break, these days can be very stressful. Join us today for meditation in the HUB during B or C lunches. You will be amazed how much difference 20 minutes of meditation can help!
