Congratulations to Ms. Chilton for being selected as the Roswell Football Teacher of the Week for this week’s game against Wheeler High School. Thank you, Ms. Chilton for all you do for Roswell High School.

Hispanic Heritage Month-Fact of the Day: Severo Ochoa was a Spanish-American physician and biochemist. He moved to the United States in 1941 and became an American citizen in 1956. Ochoa became the first Hispanic American to win the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1959 for discovery of an enzyme in bacteria that enabled him to synthesize RNA.

Students may pick up cases for their Surface Gos in the media center. Baseball conditioning is right around the corner. Remember you must have a physical on file to participate! Don’t forget to join the Team App!

Anyone planning on wrestling this year or being a trainer should plan to attend a preseason player/parent meeting on Thursday Sept. 26 at 6:30pm in the media center. Anyone unable to attend should see Coach Bradach in room PE04 this week.

Do you want to go on a once-in-a-lifetime international STEM travel experience during Summer 2020 to England and France? Please come to our meeting to hear all the details including the destination, itinerary, and cost of this trip. This meeting will be held on Thursday, September 26th at 6:00PM in Ms. Kolodziej’s room, G104! See you there!

Attention seniors who participated in BOTH the set-up and take-down of Project 9/11: In order to receive your honor cord, please go online to the Roswell High School website, scroll to the OSP (online school payment) and find Project 911 Honor Cords to pay your $10. Then, bring your receipt and your attendance verification sheet to Mrs. Boyd before school in F114 by October 1st.

Universities are visiting RHS every day! Don’t miss the chance to check out colleges while you’re here at school. A calendar and sign up information is outside Student Services. Come check it out!
