Attention Students! The Roswell High School Black Student Union is back! We will have our first meeting on Wednesday, September 18th at 7:45 in room AA21. We will discuss the upcoming year and also be prepared to collect dues. Senior dues are $30 and non senior dues are $20. We hope to see you all there!

Students: Please make sure you pick up your athletic season pass today before tonight’s home game. Avoid the long lines by having your card in hand.

Are you interested in Korean music and culture? Visit K-Club on Wednesdays in Room H109 to discuss pop culture, participate in contests, learn dances and more! We hope to share a 15 – 30 second performance on the Buzz soon.

Are you interested in computers? Are you looking for ways to get involved with your school? Then come visit computing club! Help organize this year’s Hour of Code and meet other people who love computers as well. No computer science experience is required. Just come to Mr. Lee’s room G125 every Monday after school.

There will be an informational meeting for the National Art Honor Society on Tuesday, Sept. 17th at 7:45 am in art room A110. Please see Mrs. Knowles for more information.

Don’t forget that the Hornet Spirit Store will be open on Thursday and Friday during all lunches. Stop by and stock up on spirit wear before Friday’s home football game!

Seniors, the last day to take senior pictures to be in this year’s yearbook is October 20th. Please visit LegacyStudios.com to schedule your appointment.

The Superhero Club will meet before school on Tuesday, September 17th in room D-109.

Key Club will have its first meeting on Tuesday, September 17th at 8AM in Mrs. Boyd’s room, F114. This meeting is for students returning to Key Club as well as those who might like to join.

The Powder Puff Tournament will be October 2nd this year at 6:30 pm! Pick up a waiver and access the QR code outside E104 or D112. Only the first 25 girls of each grade level will be able to play. To register, you MUST turn in your waiver AND a purchase receipt for the Tshirt. Sophomores and Juniors, turn in your forms to Ms. Allegood in E104; Freshmen and Seniors, turn in your forms to Ms. Gaffigan in D112. The deadline to turn in forms is September 23rd!

Speak Your Mind, an introduction to public speaking, is a club that gives YOU an opportunity to share your story, research, or opinion on a variety of themes and topics to a live audience. They meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:30am in the band room. See Mr.Long, in AA24, with any more questions. What’s YOUR idea worth spreading?

Attention Juniors and Seniors, Student Services is sponsoring a field trip to Gwinnett Tech Alpharetta Campus for CareerWorks on Wednesday, September 18 from 4pm to 6pm. If you are interested in attending, come to the Student Services office to pick up a permission slip.
