The Armed Services Aptitude Battery will be given at RHS on the 27th of March. The ASVAB is an excellent career exploration test that anyone can take it for career identification purposes without obligation to the armed services. Contact Lieutenant Colonel Duplechien in Portable 5 if you are interested. Also look for flyers that will posted around the school for information.

Attention Seniors! This is a final reminder that all local scholarship applications are due to Ms. Bissett in Student Services by 4PM on Friday, March 15th.

Students, If you received a letter of notification of consideration for gifted services, the signed forms are due by Thursday. You can turn them into Ms. Hunter in the Main Office or the TAG office in B105. Passes will be sent out on Friday and testing will begin on Monday 3/18.

Congratulations to the boys soccer team on their 2-0 away win versus Parkview! Goals scored by Barrett Cameron and Douglaz Rezende, assist by Nick Greene. Combined clean sheet from Matthew Mullen and Matthew House! Come root them on this Friday versus region foe, Woodstock! Go Hornets!

RHS Baccalaureate will be holding musical auditions for Seniors on Tuesday, March 19th from 3:30 to 7:00. The deadline to schedule an audition is this Saturday, March 16th. To Schedule or ask questions, contact Karen Brunner at brunnerbunch@gmail.com.

Come out and show your Roswell Hornet Spirit this Friday, March 15th at the Varsity Soccer Spirit Night! Girls start at 5:55pm, Boys at 7:55. Concession stand will offer Jersey Mike’s, Chick-fil-A, pizza and ice cream! Any youth soccer player who comes with a jersey gets in free! Also taking donations for Huskies Helping Huskies. Go Hornets!!!

Come on Hornets! Support your boys lacrosse team in a WHITE OUT Thursday in the Hornets nest as they take on arch-rival Milton High School. JV starts at 5:55 and Varsity is at 7:55.

Are you interested in playing spring football in May? Make sure you are not missing football meetings during the month of March. We have five offensive and defensive meetings during the month of March. If you are interested in playing football this spring, please come by and see Coach Kemper or Coach Prewett for more information.

Attention sophomores and juniors! Student Services is sponsoring a field trip to The University of North Georgia on Thursday, March 21st. If you are interested in going, please come to Student Services to sign up and get a permission slip. The trip will include a tour of campus, admissions information and free lunch!

Students, summer school registration is now open for Fulton Virtual School and face-to-face classes at Milton High School. Summer school brochures are now available in the Student Services office. The brochure includes the list of courses available and explains the registration process. Pick up one today!

Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, the School Governance Council has approved the adoption of the Universal Fitness Waiver. One of the biggest changes is that students must successfully complete 2 seasons of a GHSA sanctioned sport or marching band to waive Personal Fitness.The new waiver guidelines will not allow students to use prior years activities to meet the requirement. Students eligible for a personal fitness waiver under the current waiver guidelines are strongly encouraged to submit their Personal Fitness Waiver form to Student Services by May 23, 2019 to take
advantage of the current waiver requirements.
