Students must register only December 12, 13 or 14 which is next week, and includes Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Students will have from December until Saturday, January 26 to work on their projects. The guidelines allow: 1 project per grade grouping per category and there are 15 categories.

Please stop by the Media Tech Center and check with Ms. Swearingen for more information regarding the guidelines, rubrics and web site. Thanks so much!

You may have heard that a ‘Restart’ fixes a large number of Surface problems. This is true. This week it is extremely important for you to restart your Surface to ensure it installs pending Microsoft Windows updates which have been recently pushed out to your Surface. Some of these updates may partially install and wait for a full restart to complete. Using the Surface with partially installed windows updates can result in some random problems. Please ‘Restart’ you surface now to avoid these issues.Thank you!

The Superhero Club will meet in Portable 4 after school on Tuesday, December 11th for an end of the semester celebration. Bring some MARVEL-ous goodies for everyone to enjoy!

Students please take this time now, to re-start your Surfaces tablets. Re-starting will help it to run better and ensures you get the latest fixes. If you Snooze, you loose! Remember, pushing the top button only puts your Surface to sleep. Be Smart – Restart! So come on, lets do it right now – Go to Start, Select the Power icon, and re-start! Your Surface is feeling better already!

Wouldn’t it be terrible to be stuck in the hospital over the holidays? All this week, The Roswell High School Key Club is collecting brand NEW toys, games, pajamas, and other items to donate to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. We can make so many young people’s lives a little more cheery if we all pitch in a little! Please bring your donations to Mrs. Boyd’s room, F114 all this week. See flyers around school for ideas of what to donate.

Students, Do you want to earn extra money? Could you use an extra $100 to $200 per week? Please check out the job board on AA Hallway.

Seniors-The pavilion will be closed today for all lunches.

Roswell’s 3rd Hour of Code is tomorrow! Students will go to their advisement classrooms after 1st period and must bring either a fully charged phone or Surface tablet to school with them. 10th and 11th graders please note that you will ONLY be able to use your phones tomorrow, as your activity will not work on a Surface tablet or a laptop. If you are interested in teaching a class on the day but couldn’t make it to the training days, there will be a makeup training session TODAY during all lunches in room G125.

Join us for Language Fusion Club on Thursday December 6 after school in Room E127 to celebrate holiday traditions from around the world.

Come and Celebrate the Sounds of Festive Seasons with the Band!! Join us on Thursday @ 7:00 P.M. in the auditorium! We’ll be showcasing some funky tunes and sweet beats with all 3 concert bands, the percussion ensemble and the jazz band!

We will have a modified bell schedule for tomorrow’s Hour of Code! Any students who have outside school activities (such as internships or Dual enrollment courses) may be affected by this schedule change. Please ask a teacher to show you Friday’s modified schedule for details.
