Are you a writer, an artist, a photographer, or a performer? Don’t you want your work published and celebrated in the high school’s literary yearbook, the VOX literary magazine? Deadline for submission is November 9th, which is right around the corner. 

October 16th – 19th National School Lunch Week: Eat lunch all week and be entered to win the grand Prize! Monday October 15th – Pen Giveaway to all students that join us for lunch! 

Are you interested in learning about the healthcare industry? Do you need community service hours? WellStar North Fulton Hospital is seeking student volunteers for their summer program. This is an opportunity for rising juniors and seniors. See Ms. Carstens in Student Services for additional information. 

Attention all female athletes interested in participating in basketball this season. Basketball Tryouts start October 22nd at 3:45 pm in the Main Gym. See Coach Wade in room F109 for more information. 

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund invites you attend their “Preparing for College” College Camp at Georgia State University on Saturday, October 20, 9AM3PM. College Camp is FREE, but space is limited, and you must register @ HSF.net/events to ensure admittance. Look for the flyer posted in Student Services, or by the AP office door for more details. 

All wrestlers not involved in a fall sport should hand in all required paperwork to Coach Bradach this week ahead of next Monday’s first practice. There will also be a weight assessment make up for those unable to attend the last one. 

ALL Roswell High School females who plan to try out for basketball Listen up! Physicals and all documents must be uploaded to the Dragonfly program and turned in to Coach Wade by October 17. 

Several more college reps are coming to Roswell. Sign up to see Wofford, Spring Hill, the University of Southern Cal, Georgia State at Perimeter campus, Hofstra, Gwinnett Tech and Belmont. 

 Language Fusion Club is celebrating Day of the Dead after school next Wednesday, October 17 in E115. Come learn about this special day and meet the French exchange students as we make holiday decorations. 

The Superhero Club will meet every Tuesday after school in Portable 4. 

If you won a senior superlative please make sure you sign up for a picture time and show up for your photo appointment. If you have questions please see Ms. Goddard. 

All students interested in participating on Roswell’s Track and Field team this spring should meet in room F128 on Tuesday at 7:50AM for a brief meeting and introduction of Coach Harper, our new sprints coach. If you can’t make the meeting be sure to stop by Coach Evans’s room at your lunch or after school to get important information about the upcoming season.
