Attention JROTC cadets, do you consider yourself smart? Or perhaps you want to participate in some PSAT/SAT prep? Then the RHS JROTC Academic Team is the team for you! We have meetings every Friday from 3:45 to 4:30, so drop on by, or talk to Cadet Staff Sergeant Carter Quinn if you have any questions. See you there!

The Beta Club is accepting applications from Monday September 24th through Wednesday October 10th for students in 10th grade or higher. Beta Club is a national honor society. Students will complete community service hours, and must have an 88.0 or higher numeric average to apply. See flyer in Student Services or outside of Ms. Kennedy’s room (G101) for the QR code to the application.

Did you miss the first RHS Girls Basketball interest meeting? Then Listen closely! RHS Girls Basketball will be having a meeting on October 9 at 8:00 am or 3:45 am, for any female students interested in playing basketball for the 2018-2019 season. We will be giving out important information that you will need in order to try out. See you then and Go Hornets!

Attention Seniors – As we get closer to the PSAT Day on Wednesday, October 10 , the question is being asked; “What are the seniors going to do during the PSAT?” Some of the seniors will be in the School Day SAT. However, this is an excellent opportunity for you to use this day for college visits. Those students that plan to take this opportunity need turn in a parent note to Attendance Office by Friday, October 5th stating that you are using the PSAT day for a college and/or technical school visit. For those seniors that come to campus on the PSAT day, you will be directed to a supervised extended study hall in the auditorium.

The Princeton Review is once again offering SAT and ACT test preparation this fall at Roswell High School. Classes begin this Thursday after school and on some Saturdays. Stop by Student Services for more information.

ATTENTION STUDENTS, Roswell Girls Basketball is looking for 3 managers for the 2018-2019 basketball season. If you are interested, we will be having a meeting on Oct. 2 at 3:45 pm in the Main Gym. You must attend to be considered for a manager position.

Attention Seniors: If you earned a Project 9/11 Honor cord, please turn in your completed attendance sheet and $10 to Mrs. Boyd by October 1st.

Attention students interested in joining Key Club: Please turn in your $25 dues to Mrs. Boyd by October 1st. There is an option of paying online so see our Edmodo page for details.

Any new wrestlers or trainers should meet with Coach Bradach this Thursday morning in room PE04 to receive information about the upcoming season. Returning athletes, trainers and parents should plan to meet next Monday night ,Oct. 1, at 7pm in the media center for preseason team meeting.

Students please take this time now, to re-start your Surfaces. Re-starting your Surface will help it to run better and ensure you get the latest fixes. Remember, pushing the top button only turns off your display. So come on – Start, Select the Power icon, and re-start! Your Surface is feeling better already!

Attention Cure Club members and nonmembers! Our first meeting of the 2018 school year will be held on Monday October 1st in room F-102 at 7:55 am. Please come prepared to pay your dues of $20 and know your T-shirt size so we can get those ordered ASAP.

Centennial HS PTSA is hosting an Immigration Workshop on Thursday, September 27 @ 6:30 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium. Look for the flyer posted in Student Services, or by the AP office door for more details.

Attention Roswell! The Black Student union is having its next meeting on Friday, September 28th at 7:45 am in room AA21. Thanks to all the members who came to our first meeting, and we can’t wait to see even more of you on Friday!

Attention all students interested in trying out for baseball, there is a mandatory meeting Thursday morning at 7:50 in G 125. Bring your physicals as you will need to turn them in if you expect to participate in off season conditioning. If you have any questions please see Coach Sutter or Coach Wood.

Juniors and Seniors, college visits continue with Ole Miss, Eastern Kentucky, Purdue and Samford. All visits are during school. To attend, please sign up on the google doc by Student Services.

Interested in joining Friends Club? There will be an informational meeting for anyone who may be interested on Thursday, September 27th at 7:45am in Ms. Mobley’s room H-119.

The lists of names for potential homecoming court members are posted in the gym lobby and social media. If you are on this list, you are not on court yet. IF YOU ARE interested in pursuing being on homecoming court, please plan on attending a mandatory meeting Wednesday 9/26 at 7:50 OR 3:40 in H110. See you then!

The Environmental Science Club will be meeting in H-112 from 3:30-4 pm this Wednesday. We hope to see you there!

Club Will To Live First meeting is September 26 in Mr. Ahmed’s room F103 at 7:45 am OR 3:45 pm. You DO NOT have to attend both. Dues are $25 and include a T-shirt.
