Hey Hornets! Do you like gourmet cheesecakes, cookies, pies, and delicious treats? Well just ask any JROTC Cadet how you can purchase these items and many more! Your RHS JROTC has begun their annual fundraiser and would like your support! The fundraiser ends September 17th so get yours today!

Konnichiwa! Language Fusion Club is having a first meeting on Tuesday 9/18 from 3:40 at E116. We will celebrate Japanese moon viewing by making traditional snack and creating calligraphy artwork. Ask your language teacher for more details.

If you are in Spanish 4 on level, honors, or AP and you have an overall average of 90 in your Spanish classes, you are invited to apply to become a member of the Spanish Honors Society. Come by E123 and pick up an application. Applications will be due September Tuesday the 18th.

Attention Juniors and Seniors, Are you interested in learning about a Career in Accounting? The Georgia Society of CPA’s wants you to participate in their Advancing of Rising Professionals Program. Please see Mrs. Flemister in F116 for an application.

Class T-shirts are now available for pick up in the front office. If you have paid your class dues, please stop by before or after school or during lunch to pick up your t-shirt Seniors!

It’s time for round two superlatives! Check the yearbook instagram and the senior GroupMe for the link. It’s open now until Friday afternoon. Happy Hug-A-Hornet Day! We hope you enjoyed the hearts and hugs as you walked in this morning. Remember: September is Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Friends are the first defense in taking care of each other. A HUG can make all the difference in lifting someone’s spirits and knowing that someone cares. Don’t hesitate to help your friends if they need encouragement to talk to a trusted adult about how they are feeling.

Come out and play FRISBEE with the Ultimate Frisbee Club Wednesday after school on the front field!

Interested in joining Math Team? We will hold our first informational meeting on Wednesday, September 12th in Mr. Brown’s Room G-118 at 3:45 after school. This meeting is for new and returning members.

Congratulations to Ms. Omen for being selected as the Roswell Football Teacher of the Week for this week’s non-region game against Milton High School. Thank you, Ms. Omen for all you do for Roswell High School.
