Konnichiwa! Language Fusion Club is having a first meeting on Tuesday 9/18 from 3:40 at E116. We will celebrate Japanese moon viewing by making traditional snack and creating calligraphy artwork. Ask your language teacher for more details. 

If you are in Spanish 4 on level, honors, or AP and you have an overall average of 90 in your Spanish classes, you are invited to apply to become a member of the Spanish Honors Society. Come by E123 and pick up an application. Applications will be due September Tuesday the 18th. 

Attention Juniors and Seniors, Are you interested in learning about a Career in Accounting? The Georgia Society of CPA’s wants you to participate in their Advancing of Rising Professionals Program. Please see Mrs. Flemister in F116 for an application. 

Class T-shirts are now available for pick up in the front office. If you have paid your class dues, please stop by before or after school or during lunch to pick up your t-shirt. 

Come out and play FRISBEE with the Ultimate Frisbee Club Wednesday after school on the front field! 

Interested in joining Math Team? We will hold our first informational meeting on Wednesday, September 12th in Mr. Brown’s Room G-118 at 3:45 after school. This meeting is for new and returning members. 

September is Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Friends are often the first line of defense in helping when a friend is struggling with their mental health. Don’t be afraid to TELL a trusted adult if you are worried about a friend. They will thank you for it later. 

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in the Swim and Dive team at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, September 12th, in room F106. We welcome club swimmers and divers, those with summer league experience, and athletes with some swim experience looking for a great off season cross training sport. Several universities are coming in this month, including Villanova, the University of Alabama, Emory, Penn State and the University of South Carolina. Sign up today, or stop by Student Services for more information. 

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing soccer for RHS in the spring on Tuesday, September 11th- from 3:45-4:15 in the Media Center. This is for all grades. 

The first meeting of the Gamer’s Lounge will be this Tuesday, after school in room F-103. Please attend this meeting if you are interested! 

Please remember today all those who lost their lives in the attacks on our country on September 11, 2001. Please also keep in mind all of the people, and their families, who work to keep us safe, including First Responders and the members of the US military.​
