We will hold our first informational meeting on Wednesday, September 12th in Mr. Brown’s Room G-118 at 3:45 after school. This meeting is for new and returning members.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in the Swim and Dive team at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, September 12th, in room F106. We welcome club swimmers and divers, those with summer league experience, and athletes with some swim experience looking for a great off season cross training sport. Who is your favorite adult in the building? September is Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and students often feel comfortable talking to an adult at school that they feel connected with. If you’re ever struggling and don’t know if you should share, just know that the adults in this building care about you and want to help. Think about WHO in this building would be your “go to” adult if you needed to talk?
Attention Seniors – There are only 4 days left to sign up for the School Day SAT on October 10. Sign up is now opened to all seniors that want to take the test but there are only about 30 seats remaining. The deadline is this Friday, September 7 at 4 PM. The sign up sheet is located in Student Services.
Project 9/11, the RHS memorial for the victims of September 11th 2001, will begin on Monday, September 10 immediately after school, outside at the end of F hall. Please bring a hammer and a screwdriver to help with the installation of flags. Flag clean-up will take place immediately after school on Wednesday, September 12. If you are a senior who wants to earn an honor cord, you must participate fully on both days.
