Hey Hornets! Do you like gourmet cheesecakes, cookies, pies, and delicious treats? Well just ask any JROTC Cadet how you can purchase these items and many more! Your RHS JROTC has begun their annual fundraiser and would like your support! The fundraiser ends September 17th so get yours today! 

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in the Swim and Dive team at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, September 12th, in room F106. We welcome club swimmers and divers, those with summer league experience, and athletes with some swim experience looking for a great off season cross training sport. Attention Juniors and Seniors, Are you interested in a Career in Accounting? The Georgia Society of CPA’s wants you to participate in their Advancing of Rising Professionals Program. Please see Mrs. Flemister in F116 for an application. 

It’s way more than just building robots! Join Roswell Robotics for an informational meeting and the launch of the First Tech Challenge (FTC) game, Rover Ruckus. The meeting will be held at RHS in room B106 at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 8th. Visit firstinspires.org or just Google FIRST to find out more. 

Don’t forget: September is Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. If you or a friend are struggling with thoughts of selfharm, remember how important it is to follow the ACT model: Acknowledge, Care, Tell. YOU could make the difference in saving a life. 

Attention Students! Would you like to get better connected to RHS? Are you thinking of joining a school club? Then, please plan on attending the RHS 2018 Club Fair on September 5, 2018, on the gymnasium track during al lunches. See you there! 

Attention current Beta Club members! We will have an important Beta Club meeting this Thursday at 7:45 AM in the auditorium to discuss service opportunities and some important changes for this year. Please make plans to be there Thursday morning. 

Juniors and Seniors, see college representatives while they are here! Brenau University, Auburn, Elon, GCSU and more will be here soon. If you’d like to attend you must sign up through the college calendar in Student Services. 

This year’s musical is Mary Poppins! Join us TODAY at 4 p.m. in the auditorium to get information on auditioning and to find out how to participate in the audition preparation workshop September 22nd. Food provided. Bring a friend! 

We hope you enjoyed the music before 1st period this morning! We will be playing music all this week to highlight a coping strategy that many of us use when we are stressed or overwhelmed. This is important because September is Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Month. This whole month we will be highlighting topics to help everyone focus on their wellbeing. If you or a friend is ever in need of support, please do not hesitate to speak with a trusted adult or stop by Student Services to speak with a counselor or social worker. RHS Cares.
