It’s way more than just building robots! Join Roswell Robotics for an informational meeting and the launch of the First Tech Challenge (FTC) game, Rover Ruckus. The meeting will be held at RHS in room B106 at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 8th. Visit firstinspires.org or just Google FIRST to find out more. 

​We hope you enjoyed the music before 1st period this morning! We will be playing music all this week to highlight a coping strategy that many of us use when we are stressed or overwhelmed. This is important because September is Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Month. This whole month we will be highlighting topics to help everyone focus on their wellbeing. If you or a friend is ever in need of support, please do not hesitate to speak with a trusted adult or stop by Student Services to speak with a counselor or social worker. RHS Cares 

Today is the last day student council will be handing out class tshirts in the concession stand during Lunch. If you’ve paid class dues, make sure you stop by and pick up your shirt 

Tickets for Friday night’s football game vs. Centennial will be sold at all lunches on Friday. Student tickets are $5 (only one per student) and additional tickets are $8. If students would like to attend the tailgate celebration, beginning at 5:30 pm on Friday, tickets will be available at all lunches for $10. The tailgate includes food, inflatables, and entrance to the game. Also, please remember that book bags are not allowed at the football game. 

 This year’s musical is Mary Poppins! Join us September 4th, at 4 p.m. in the auditorium to get information on auditioning and to find out how to participate in the audition preparation workshop September 22nd. Food provided. Bring a friend! 

Attention Juniors and Seniors, Are you interested in a Career in Accounting? The Georgia Society of CPA’s wants you to participate in their Advancing of Rising Professionals Program. Please see Mrs. Flemister in F116 for an application. 

Senior packets are due this Friday in the box outside Ms. Goddard’s room, D111. 

Attention Students! Would you like to get better connected to RHS? Are you thinking of joining a school club? Then, please plan on attending the RHS 2018 Club Fair on September 5, 2018, on the gymnasium track during al lunches. See you there! 

Juniors and Seniors, see college representatives while they are here! Brenau University, Auburn, Elon, GCSU and more will be here soon. If you’d like to attend you must sign up through the college calendar in Student Services.
