Attention Students! Would you like to get better connected to RHS? Are you thinking of joining a school club? Then, please plan on attending the RHS 2018 Club Fair on September 5, 2018, on the gymnasium track during al lunches. See you there! 

Come to Costa Rica! Would you like to walk though a cloud forest? Kayak by a volcano? Go white water rafting? Search for sloths and monkeys on a nature hike through a tropical rain forest? Then go on the educational adventure of a lifetime with EF Tours and Senorita Phelps in June of 2019. See Senorita Phelps in E125 for information and bring your parents to the informational meeting next Wednesday August 29 at 6:00 in E125. 

Any student interested joining the fencing team should plan to attend a brief meeting Wednesday, August 29 at 3:30 in the cafeteria. All students are welcome to join. Fencing experience is not required to join the team. 

Come join the Roswell High School Superhero Club! Our first meeting will be held in Portable 4 on Tuesday, August 28th at 7:45.

Hey Roswell! The school store is now open with a NEW location to purchase your spirit wear! The new location is in the cafeteria hallway entrance, immediately to your right, just before entering the cafeteria. This year, the store will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:45 to 8:15 am. 

Please be sure to come in and check out the new spirit wear for this year’s football season! Class Tshirts are arriving! If you’ve paid your class dues, seniors, sophomores and freshman can pick up a class t-shirt at the concession stand during all lunches. Junior class shirts will be arriving soon! 

If you’re interested in being a part of Mu Alpha Theta, the national math honor society, please come to Ms. Kennedy’s room, G-101, at 7:45 AM this Wednesday, August 29. Existing members and students interested in learning more about the club are invited! Again, that’s Wednesday at 7:45 in G-101. 

Juniors and Seniors: next week starts college visits at Roswell! Representatives from Georgia Tech, Berry, Southern Methodist, the University of Illinois and more will be here. Sign up is through Student Services. 

The second meeting of the Roswell High School Computing Club will be held this Monday after school in Mr. Lee’s room G-125. Please join us and take an ACTIVE ROLE in the Hour Of Code planning! 

Seniors, do you need to take the SAT but have not had the opportunity? Roswell HS will offer the School Day SAT on Wednesday, October 10. This is the PSAT Day for the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade classes. If you are a senior and interested in taking the SAT on October 10; please sign up in Student Services Office starting Monday, August 20. the sign up will end on Friday, September 7. 

As a reminder, students will be forced to change their passwords for the 18-19 school year. Here are a few details: 

• Students should enroll in the password reset tool. Instructions can be found here: 

• The password change enforcement will occur during the first 30-days of school, however students do have the ability to change passwords now. 

• Under Password enforcement, Students will be prompted to reset passwords at login when passwords expire. 

• Students will be required to reset their passwords one time a year. 

• Passwords will be required to use a minimum of eight (8) characters containing upper AND lower case letters AND a number OR a symbol. 

• If students enter the wrong password 5 times, they will be locked out for 10 minutes. Students and teachers can unlock accounts using the password reset tool. *They must be enrolled first!* 

Student tickets for Friday night’s football game versus Campbell will be available for $5 on Friday during all lunches. All tickets purchased at the game Friday night will be $8. 

TAG Registration is now OPEN for 10th through 12th grade students, and classes are beginning this week. Please go to the new TAG website sent to you through Home Access to register. The mobile friendly site is located at Please come to B105 during lunch any time this week if you need assistance with TAG registration. 

Hey Roswell! Join Roswell United this Friday at 7:20 in the outdoor classroom for free food, worship and fellowship!! Start off your Friday with a great message with some great friends!! Everyone is welcome!! See you there!! 

Did you know that Roswell High School has an Environmental Science Club? Please join us for the first meeting of the year this Wednesday immediately after school in H-112 (Mrs. Glover’s room). 

For those interested in finding out more about the video game come to room F103 after school on Thursday. 

If you have already paid for an All-Athletic pass, please bring an ID to pick up your pass during lunch either Wednesday or Thursday. 

RHS Students and Teachers: 

This announcement is very important. We need your help for the estimated number of Surface 3 devices needed for Friday, 8-24-2018. 

This applies to students with no math classes and students who are taking Online classes or are in dual-enrollment classes. You must also have your signed Device User Agreement to receive a device.

If you are a student in either of the two listed categories, please let the Media Tech Center staff know if you DO or DO NOT PLAN to pick up your Surface 3 device this Friday so we have an accurate count of devices. Please contact the Media Tech Center by stopping by Thursday before school or during the four lunch/study hall periods OR sending an e-mail by 3 PM today, Thursday, to so the staff will know your status. If you have already been issued a Surface 3 device, you DO NOT need to notify us. 

The students who have been absent may also pick up their Surface 3 devices this Friday and do NOT need to notify us. 

Please remember to notify the Media Tech Center staff by 3 PM today of your status if you are taking Online classes or are in dual-enrollment classes and want to receive a Surface 3 device. Thanks so much! 

Students: A reminder that the Fulton Schools Student Code of Conduct and all school rules apply at school events. In others words, please do not consume drugs or alcohol at any time and do not come to a Roswell game under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. In addition to school consequences, you will be referred to law enforcement and it could impact your ability to participate in extracurriculars at RHS.
