Seniors, do you need to take the SAT but have not had the opportunity? Roswell HS will offer the School Day SAT on Wednesday, October 10. This is the PSAT Day for the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade classes. If you are a senior and interested in taking the SAT on October 10; please sign up in Student Services Office starting Monday, August 20. the sign up will end on Friday, September 7.

As a reminder, students will be forced to change their passwords for the 18-19 school year. Here are a few details: • Students should enroll in the password reset tool. Instructions can be found here: • The password change enforcement will occur during the first 30-days of school, however students do have the ability to change passwords now. • Under Password enforcement, Students will be prompted to reset passwords at login when passwords expire. • Students will be required to reset their passwords one time a year. • Passwords will be required to use a minimum of eight (8) characters containing upper AND lower case letters AND a number OR a symbol. • If students enter the wrong password 5 times, they will be locked out for 10 minutes. Students and teachers can unlock accounts using the password reset tool. *They must be enrolled first!*

Juniors and seniors, colleges and universities are coming to Roswell!!Take a tour without leaving campus and talk with school representatives. All visits are during the school day. You must sign up in advance using the QR code in Student Services, or on our website. Be sure to check the calendar often for changes and additions.

Balfour will be in the gym lobby on Monday and Tuesday, August 21st and 22nd to take deposits and orders for class rings and Letter Jackets. You can order online at GA

The Ultimate Frisbee Club! Come out Wednesday after school to play ultimate Frisbee! We play every Wednesday on the band practice field out in front of the school!

Seniors: Pick up your senior packet outside of Ms. Goddard’s room, Room D111 to provide your senior quote and to vote for superlatives. Packets are due back by Friday, August 31st.

Roswell Co-Ed USTA Fall club team will meet next Tuesday August 21st in portable 2 at 5 pm to sign up for teams. All guys and girls who play tennis, especially 9th graders, are welcome to sign up. This is not a beginners league where you learn how to play. For any questions, come see Coach Shackelford in portable 2.

Freshmen (and other newbies) who would like to join Student Council, please pick up paperwork outside of Mrs Hartigan’s room H110 this week. You can choose to run for an office or just join as a representative. Either way you MUST pick up a packet and return by Monday August 20th at 4pm. There is a mandatory meeting after you turn it in on Tuesday August 21st at EITHER 7:50 am OR 3:40 pm. We can’t wait to meet you!

The Computing Club will have it’s first meeting on Monday the 20th after school in Mr. Lee’s room G125 Come be a part of the HOUR OF CODE and join the Computing Club!

Students and Teachers: Good news! The Device Deployment Days start Monday, 8-20, and will begin with a video during the four study hall periods. We will assign Surface 3 devices Tuesday through Thursday during math classes. The math teachers will advise students of the exact day and time to go to the Media Tech Center to receive their Surface 3 devices. On Friday, 8-24, we will assign the Surface 3 devices to students with no math classes, absentees, students taking Online classes and other exceptions. These students must check with the Media Tech Center staff to pick up the required form.

Attention students! The sweep bus begins Monday, August 13. The sweep bus provides transportation for students that are staying after school for approved school activities. The sweep bus will leave campus at 5 pm and you must have permission to ride the bus. The bus stop locations are posted outside the AP Office. Again, the sweep bus begins on Monday.

If you are taking a Career Tech class please remember to bring in your form and money to join SkillsUSA. And you can now pay online!

Roswell Rotary is looking for 15 to 181/2 year old high school students interested in a scholarship covering room, board, tuition and a monthly stipend for one academic year as they study overseas valued at over $24,000. The student/family pays for airfare, insurance and some other fees totaling around $5000. Do you enjoy a night at the movies or a round of mini golf? Then you need to purchase an Aurora card from any softball player or Coach Roustan in D104. These cards are $20 and include a FREE movie, popcorn, drink, and mini golf, in addition to BOGO of all of these items for a value of over $70!

The deadline to purchase an ALL ATHLETIC PASS is this Friday, August 17th. Passes are $80 and include admission into all home sporting events, excluding GHSA playoff games. The pass can be purchased using the Class Dues form and can be turned in to the Front office.

Registration for TAG seminars for TAG students in grades 10 through 12 opens this weekend. Please go to or follow the link sent to you this afternoon through Home Access and/or through the TAG Remind to select a seminar class. TAG seminars will begin either Tuesday August 21st or Thursday August 23rd based on your selection. Please come to room B105 if you have questions or need assistance from a TAG teacher to register.
