Juniors and seniors, colleges and universities are coming to Roswell!!Take a tour without leaving campus and talk with school representatives. All visits are during the school day. You must sign up in advance using the QR code in Student Services, or on our website. Be sure to check the calendar often for changes and additions.

Roswell Co-Ed USTA Fall club team will meet next Tuesday August 21st in portable 2 at 5 pm to sign up for teams. All guys and girls who play tennis, especially 9th graders, are welcome to sign up. This is not a beginners league where you learn how to play. For any questions, come see Coach Shackelford in portable 2.

Freshmen (and other newbies) who would like to join Student Council, please pick up paperwork outside of Mrs Hartigan’s room H110 this week. You can choose to run for an office or just join as a representative. Either way you MUST pick up a packet and return by Monday August 20th at 4pm. There is a mandatory meeting after you turn it in on Tuesday August 21st at EITHER 7:50 am OR 3:40 pm. We can’t wait to meet you!

The Computing Club will have it’s first meeting on Monday the 20th after school in Mr. Lee’s room G125 Come be a part of the HOUR OF CODE and join the Computing Club!

Attention students! The sweep bus begins Monday, August 13. The sweep bus provides transportation for students that are staying after school for approved school activities. The sweep bus will leave campus at 5 pm and you must have permission to ride the bus. The bus stop locations are posted outside the AP Office. Again, the sweep bus begins on Monday.

If you are taking a Career Tech class please remember to bring in your form and money to join SkillsUSA. And you can now pay online!

Roswell Rotary is looking for 15 to 181/2 year old high school students interested in a scholarship covering room, board, tuition and a monthly stipend for one academic year as they study overseas valued at over $24,000. The student/family pays for airfare, insurance and some other fees totaling around $5000. Informational meetings will be held: Aug 16 Aug 22 6:30-8pm 6:30-8pm Emory University Two Perimeter Plaza Conference Room 5-C 2nd Floor Conference Center 5607 Glenridge Dr.

Do you enjoy a night at the movies or a round of mini golf? Then you need to purchase an Aurora card from any softball player or Coach Roustan in D104. These cards are $20 and include a FREE movie, popcorn, drink, and mini golf, in addition to BOGO of all of these items for a value of over $70!

Attention Juniors and Seniors. Applications for joining the Science National Honor Society can be picked up in Ms. Glover’s room, H-112. All applications are due by Friday, August 17th. We will hold a quick meeting to elect officers on Friday August 17th at 7:50 am in H-112.

Come out and play ULTIMATE FRISBEE with the club on Wednesdays after school on the band practice field out in front of the school! No prior experience is required AND this is a coed club sport and ALL are welcome! See you Wednesday!

French and German students: have you heard about Roswell High School’s exchange program with a high school in France? We’ll be hosting students this fall and traveling to France and Germany in the spring. Interested in international travel and a great cultural experience? Join us next Tuesday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center for more information if you are hosting a student this fall or are interested in traveling with us to France and Germany next spring.​
