Class Today Letters
In an effort to improve student attendance and student achievement for all of our students, Fulton County Schools has partnered with a program called In Class Today. Through this partnership, you may receive a personalized and automated attendance notifications up to five times per school year. The language contained in these communications has been rigorously tested by the School Support R&D Lab at Harvard University and has been shown to improve school attendance for students. Please know that we understand that your child and family may have very acceptable and understandable reasons to be absent from school but that any absence from school instruction could potentially have a negative impact on your child’s achievement. As such, these attendance communications are simply intended to update you on your child’s absences and to strengthen our partnership with you as we ensure all students are at school, all day, every day to the extent possible. If you have any questions, please contact Laura Routt, our school attendance clerk.
